i am a mother of 4 i have 1 in custody. back in 2004 i moved to gainsville,fl to build a relationship with my mother . i put up everything my apartment and transferred my job.well i stayed with my mom for a month and she put me and my daughter out at 1:45am. i was saving money for my apartment here before she did that but since she did not ask me to pay any rent i felt that if she did ask me for anything that i would help. well out of the money that i was saving she asked for money for a car no. i gave it.then she asked me for money to travel to mississippi for a funeral that costed me 300$ for air fare. when she came back thats when she put my daughter andi out. so we ended up staying at a hotel for 2 days because thats how long it took to get into a shelter.we stayed in the shelter for 2 weeks and then i moved into our new apartment. then the same day that i was moving into my new apartment the same day my mom found out where i was living. my mother was helping me watch my daughter so ican work extra hrs and 2days after that there were reports to dept. and childrenand families alleging that my mom abused my daughter so my mom manage to get out of the trouble and instead i got charged for failure to protect.the law in florida is if you had previous records on child abuse that after 1 alleged comment the child is removed from the home.may i add my mom was a social worker for 16 yrs!back in 2000 i lost custody of my 3 children to a drug related family. i was on my own in mississippi had nohelp from this family no help from my family. i had no job no child care no foodstamps. just a hud home i broke up with their father and told myself something is going to have to change.well after a couple of weeks the father saw that i would not have any thing else to do with him he got up set.he then attempted to bring himself and his nepews to shoot in the house not knowing that the 9month old was inthe house with me.yes he did have the twins before he took custody. the agreement between he and i was that he keep tham for 2weeks until i find a job.anyway a socialworker served me some papers on a friday and the papers ordered me to be in court on monday. when i was in court i had no attorney present and the judge would not let me speak.the judge ordered me a case plan and i never recieved another court date.i just found out that there was another court date and i was not informed about that. so what does that mean ? that means failure to appear that was a set up out of this world .i am looking for an attorney that can help me if you are out there some where please i am ready to be back in my daughers lives .

i know how it is i have a daughter that has bipolar shes 10 and i am going pretty much through the same except i am trying to move to charlotte to get support from her dad side of the family . keep me posted on what is happening with you and pray

emil that is so very true! i have a disabled daugther and i pay child support for 3 other children and i work as a server getting paided 3.15hr pluse tips. i sometimes donot understand how i am able to make ends meet.

i am a mother of 4 children and only have 1 living at home with me. i have had a hard life since 12 yrs old i consider myself as a strong woman. i was abused as a child until 16 i was shifted from home to home i made a bad choose on what to do with my life.i had kids at a young age and lost 3 of them to a use to be drug dealer that had people who he knew to help him such as his drug dealing family and people he knew through the children and families resources .now i am trying to get custody of my children through the courts and information is getting back to him through someone that works at the court house if anyone have any ideas please feel free to share them thankyou ms. lewis

i would like to know how can some one pay for shipping through credit cards if they do not even own one ?why own one to get into deeper dept than your already in? my motto is do not do things that will put you into a deeper hole than you already are! so i want to know how else to go about applying for a free goverment loan ?why apply for one if you have a credit card and can send 12.95 for shipping? something that you say that you do not have if you are applying for this grant. ms.king
